A beautiful, fully cleaned Ercol oval Drop-leaf dining table from the Windsor Collection, manufactured between 1957 – 1989.
The table seats six people when fully opened. It is especially useful for smaller rooms, as it seats two comfortably when folded.
The drop leaves have metal supports with wooden blocks at the end pull out from beneath the middle of the top to hold the leaves in an upright position when their use is required.
Full length ‘piano’ hinges are fitted to the underside of the leaves these are clean and free of rust, the subtly tapered solid beech angled tapering legs are classically elegant in form.
The table top displays a striking grain pattern.
It is in excellent condition and still bears the original blue label dating it to 1957-76.
