French Pitch Pine Vanity Table Wash Stand with White Marble Top, circa 1900
This early twentieth century French pitch pine vanity washstand “table de toilette” features a beveled white marble top with an upper shelf.
Its two drawers with metal drawer pulls are of dovetail construction.
Below the drawers are two paneled doors that open to reveal an interior with three divided compartments.
This piece would be ideal as a vanity in a powder bath where a sink could be placed on top or dropped into the marble.
