A set of four midcentury teak dining chairs by A.H. McIntosh, Scotland, circa 1960s.
Model no 9073
Scottish furniture manufacturer McIntosh is best known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak cabinetry and sideboards.
Each features a refined open-back frame with three gently curved horizontal rails and tapered legs.
The chairs have been not been re-upholstered and feature the original boucle orange and brown upholstery which is in very good original condition with only one corner on one chair showing a little wear. (Please see photos).
We do offer a reupholster service if required - but the original upholstery is very cool and still on trend.
The frames are sturdy and solid, offering durability and ease of maintenance.
The warm tone of the teak complements the rich colours of the upholstery, creating a balanced silhouette well-suited to vintage or contemporary dining interiors.
Dimensions: 83 cm height - 51 cm width - 47 cm depth - 46 cm seat height
Condition: - one of the slat backs has slight damage to the cross slat - please see photo. But this no way affects the functionality or aesthetic appeal of this item
