£475.00

This is a vintage French Louis XV/XVI-style carved oak or cherrywood extendable dining table featuring a geometric parquetry top and cabriole legs.

The Tabletop features an intricate diamond-pattern wood parquetry design with scalloped or chamfered edges.

The frame & legs comprise of ornate carved aprons with floral/acanthus motifs and curved cabriole legs ending in scroll or upswept feet.

Designed as an extendable/draw-leaf style table that expands to seat extra guests this table could accommodate up to 12 for dinner.

It is an impressive piece, recently sourced from Normandie, it weighs about 40 kg.

This is one of the largest examples of this style of table we have sourced.

Dimensions : 77 cm height - 98 cm wide - 168 cm long with both leaves closed - 281 cm long fully extended

The table is in excellent condition - there are only two small imperfections to declare - as can be seen in the final two photos. One leaf has a couple of dents in it and one piece of parquetry is slightly risen. These are minor and consistent with an item in every day use and they in no way detract from the aesthetic appeal and functionality of this item.
