Vintage MCM 1970s Dunfermline Teak 2m Long Sideboard by A H McIntosh
A lovely Mcintosh vintage ‘Dunfermline’ sideboard designed by Tom Robertson sideboard circa 1970.
Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in Scotland made the ‘Dunfermline’ sideboard for over a decade and it was their second best selling model after the well known ‘Dunvegan’. The ‘Dunfermline’ was mainly made in teak as were the bulk of McIntosh sideboards, but is the only model that they also produced in rosewood.
A good example of British workmanship. Offering a large double door cupboard, a drop down drinks cupboard with original pull out tray and three good sized drawers – top one having internal cutlery dividers and lined with red felt.
In good vintage condition. The interior red velvet lining of the cutlery drawer is very clean and free from staining. There are other minimal signs of wear and tear through general age and use but nothing else significant to note - this item is I excellent vintage condition.
Dimensions : 205 cm long - 75.5 cm height - 46 cm depth
